Well said. Our efforts unfortunately are being more counter-productive these days. Better not to try to save anything, that's the best way to save perhaps.
What?! even if you hold your breath you'd compensate for the loss of O2 in the next breath. but a 40W tube light won't become an 80W tube light if u switch it off for an hour. if the light is in office, then 40W* 1 hr would be compensated by 40W*1hr (or may be 2hr) because the work has to be completed. but a 40W *1hr at home would be savings.
Brilliantly put. More CO2 is released in promoting Earth day than what is saved in that 1 hour.
